About

keefigures — say it “key figures” — is a small, Brooklyn-based shop for resin keycaps. We pick the designs; we don't pretend to do more than that.

What we actually do

We curate a tight selection of resin novelty caps for MX-style boards — an Esc, an Enter, a single statement key to break up an otherwise sane keyset. The goal is a short list we'd put on our own boards, not 4,000 near-identical marketplace listings you have to sort through hoping one is decent.

How they're made (the honest part)

These caps are produced by manufacturing partners, not cast by us. We're in stage one: a curated storefront, partner-made and partner-fulfilled. Orders ship from our fulfillment partner's warehouse, so we'll list the real delivery estimate on every product instead of guessing. We're new. Some of these are among our first orders, and we'd rather say that than fake a track record. No “hand-cast in our Brooklyn studio” story, because that isn't true yet.

Compatibility first

Every product lists the cross-stem (MX +), profile, and row, so you know whether it fits a standard MX hotswap or soldered board before you buy. If a cap won't clear your stabs, your switches, or a particular profile, we'll flag it. Specs over adjectives.

Pricing and support

Prices are in USD, with shipping times, costs, and return terms on the page — no surprises at the cart. Email reaches an actual person who knows what a group buy and a hotswap socket are.

Where this is going

The plan is one continuous honesty promise. Stage one: validate demand as a curated store, earn real reviews, get the basics right. Stage two: hold inventory, inspect units in-hand, speed up fulfillment, and introduce colorways that are ours. Stage three: collaborate with genuine makers on hand-cast, low-run drops — and only then will words like “artisan” and “limited” actually apply.

Right now the real product is trust. The keycaps are how we prove it.
